Our children are craving our attunement

… and it starts inside of us.

a felt Life parenting community

Maybe you’ve already felt it.

That parenting isn’t really about getting your child to listen, behave, or cooperate.

That beneath the resistance, the meltdowns, the pushing back, and the moments that bring you to your edge, there is a nervous system asking to be met.

And yours is there too.

We believe our children need more than parents who know the right things to say.

They need us present. Attuned. Connected to ourselves.

They need boundaries that don’t require fear.

Leadership that doesn’t require control.

Safety that doesn’t require compliance.

And we need spaces where we can practice that without being expected to get it right all the time.

That’s what we’re creating here.

A community where we slow down enough to notice what’s happening underneath the behavior—our children’s and our own.

Where the body matters. Where emotions are welcome. Where we can be honest about the places parenting touches something tender in us without making ourselves wrong for it.

We don’t gather here to become perfect, regulated parents.

We gather to become more available for relationship.

With our children.

With ourselves.

And with one another.

Long before we ever thought about creating a space for other parents, this work was unfolding in our home.

We had both been doing our own healing work for years. And when we came together as a family - me as a mother and Brian stepping into the role of step-father - parenting and partnership had a way of bringing that work right into the room with us.

So we started listening differently.

To our bodies. To our nervous systems. To each other. And especially to what our child was communicating underneath her behavior.

Over time, something changed in our home.

Not because conflict disappeared, but because we learned how to meet what was happening without making anyone in the family the problem.

And somewhere along the way, we realized:

This is the kind of space we want more families to have.

A place where everyone gets to be human. Where children are deeply honored and parents are, too.
